This unit is composed of Masaki Hanawa, who is a sound artist, saxophonist and acrylic painter, and Yuka Konishi who is a jazz bassist.

They embarked as an acoustic duo of improvisational performances. Recently, they are employing various means of expression to deliver theme oriented live performances.

In ‘Kou-Yukidokeharuka ototoshi’, they based their improvisational performance on poems and paintings created by themselves in advance. ‘In My Room’ is a challenge of ambient-electronica where they sampled everyday noises to deliver the feeling of ‘a day in someone’s room’.

The name of the unit ‘Tsutaegoto’ comes from Japanese and has two meanings. First, it means to deliver a message. It also represents their wish to have a strong voice that comes from various means of expressions and music, just like a Tsuta that can grow and flourish in all kinds of places.

One track is available on Bandcamp. It is from their performance at Muriui Soshigaya-Ōkura in February 2022





サウンドアーティスト/サックス奏者/アクリル画家として活動する塙正貴と、ジャズベーシストの小西佑果によるユニット。

アコースティックでの即興演奏から始まり、最近では各回ごとにテーマを設け、表現方法を複数組み合わせたライブを行う。

詩作に挑戦するとともに四枚の制作した絵から受けたインスピレーションを元に、それぞれに即興をつけた『呼応-雪解け遥か音遠し』、サンプリングした生活音をモチーフに「部屋で過ごす一日」を表現した『In my room』はアンビエント・エレクトロニカに挑戦したライブになった。

ユニット名「ツタエゴト」には、message = 伝え事という意味と、蔦がどんな場所でもツルを伸ばし生い茂るように、様々な表現や音楽を取り込みしなやかで強い音楽を作っていきたいという願いをこめた。



昨年2月に祖師ヶ谷大蔵ムリウイでのライブレコーディングより一曲bandcampで公開。
